AAF Appoints Addy Judges

NEW YORK The American Advertising Federation today named 10 judges to its Addy Awards panel.

Judging for the national awards, which honor creative excellence in advertising, will be held May 2-3 in Montreal, Canada.

Judges are Juan Bernal, creative director at Enlace Communications in Los Angeles; Brian Booker, president and chief creative officer at Barkley Evergreen Partners in Kansas City, Mo.; Ted Chin, president and creative director of Ted Chin & Co. in Greenwich, Conn.; Albert Kelly, associate creative director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco; Mary Knight, executive creative director at Foot, Cone & Belding in Seattle; Doug Knopper, vice president and general manager, advertiser, agency and publisher solutions at DoubleClick in New York; Jesus Martin, group creative director at the Bravo Group in New York; Jerry Shereshewsky, ambassador plenipotentiary to Madison Avenue at Yahoo! in New York; Stephen Thompson, vice president, creative services, Agency.com in Chicago; and Dave Tutin, managing partner and executive creative director at Grey in New York.

This year, for the first time, international ads are included in the competition, which boasts 60,000 entries. Winners will be named June 7 at the AAF Festival in Los Angeles.
