10 Most Watched Ads on YouTube in October

Dogs were a big deal on Adweek and Google's YouTube Ads Leaderboard in September. But October was all about the cats.

Friskies and BuzzFeed teamed up for another installment of "Dear Kitten" and got all the way to No. 2 on the October leaderboard, ranking the 10 most-viewed ads posted to the site during the month. Taylor Swift and her house full of kittens also made the list, at No. 5.

LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen are the other celebrities on this month's list (it's Gisele's second straight month on the list, following her Under Armour spot), while Google and Samsung make appearances with mobile-phone product spots.

But an airline outdid them all. See the full list below.

Note: To be eligible for Adweek and Google's YouTube Ads Leaderboard, videos must be marked as ads on YouTube (i.e., they get some paid views) but must also earn significant organic views.
