Most advertising pros immediately recognize the 2020 mashup from YouTube creator Microsoft Sam called, “Every Covid-19 Commercial is Exactly the Same.” It’s a compilation of somber brand spots, from Apple to Uber, backed by nearly-identical “sad piano” soundtracks.

Don’t let this be you.

That was one takeaway from a Tuesday session of Adweek at Home featuring Made Music Studio executives John Taite, global evp of brand partnerships, and Kristen Lueck, vice president of strategy.
