IPG Mediabrands full-service global performance media marketing unit, Reprise, which recently relaunched with the combination of IPG’s Society and Ansible agencies, has strengthened its executive leadership team with the arrival of a general manager.

In the newly-created role, Renee Marquardt will be responsible for overseeing core agency operations in the U.S. across Reprise’s New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Detroit offices. She will report to Reprise U.S. executive vice president, managing director Robert Bernstein.

“Renee is an experienced digital leader with a proven track record of success managing client relationships and teams,” Bernstein said in a statement. “She has brought to Reprise exceptional management skills and forward-thinking. As we enter this exciting new era for Reprise, no one is better placed to further drive our digital-led approach in-market and deliver meaningful brand interactions on behalf of our clients.”

“The new Reprise is innovative, bold and dynamic, and I was impressed by its vision of a unified approach to digital across owned, earned, paid and shared media underpinned by strong strategic framework,” Marquardt added. “It’s an exciting time to be joining the agency, and I look forward to further growing Reprise as a digital leader throughout the U.S.”

Marquardt arrives at Reprise with 25 years of agency experience. She formerly served as chief operating officer for digital agency Didit, following roles as a management supervisor for Rapp Collins Worldwide and an account executive for Wunderman Cato Johnson.
