Former Facebook Creative Shop Chief Mark D'Arcy Joins The Brandtech Group

Facebook’s former Creative Shop leader Mark D’Arcy is joining The Brandtech Group as a partner and chief creative officer.

D’Arcy, who was formerly the social media platform’s vp of global business marketing and chief creative officer, departed in August last year. He initially joined Facebook as director of global creative solutions in the summer of 2011 from Time Warner’s Global Media Group, where he was president and chief creative officer.

D’Arcy also led the education of brands around their use of social media, a role he will continue in his new responsibilities for growing interest around Web 3, augmented reality and the metaverse.
