Bottled water brand Evian has switched allegiances, naming Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam as its global agency of record.
BETC, an agency headquartered in Paris, previously handled global creative duties for the brand. According to a BETC spokesperson, the agency, which created Evian’s iconic babies, will continue to work with the brand in the French market.
Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam won the Evian business after a global review last year. The brand’s new agency has debuted a two-part global campaign for Evian called “Drink True,” which comes as the brand continues to work toward its goal of making all of its bottles from recycled plastic by 2025.
“We’ve always been inspired by the heritage and creativity of the Evian brand, but on meeting the people at Evian we also became inspired by their commitment to meet ambitious sustainability goals.
