Electric bike retailer VanMoof’s chief creative officer Pascal Duval has joined Amsterdam production company Halal to begin a new strategy and creative development arm within the business.

Duval, who has also held the position of head of creative at ASOS, will become the creative director of Halal Studios, a new direct-to-client offer that aims to bridge the gap between marketers and “makers.”

He recently worked with Halal in the making of the latest VanMoof campaign titled “Ride the Future” which was released in August.

VanMoof has grown over the last 12 years from a Dutch start-up business to develop a worldwide community of 200,000 e-bike riders with stores in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, San Francisco, Seattle, Tokyo, New York and Paris, and plans to expand further internationally.
