NEW YORK WPP Group’s GroupM has made a strategic investment in Invidi, a company that provides a proprietary advertising targeting technology to cable and satellite TV providers.
The exact terms of GroupM’s investment were not disclosed, but officials said Invidi pulled in $25 million as part of its third round of financing. WPP’s investment does not provide the agency holding firm with a controlling stake in Invidi, execs said.
