NEW YORK Cliches get a bad rap. Sure, they’re a bore if used in a straightforward way. Given a twist, though, they can grab our attention, since they then become at once familiar and novel—a combination we’re unaccustomed to. A spot for Ubisoft’s My Word Coach video game, via Phoenix-based agency Moses Anshell, is a case in point. We see the conclusion of a job interview, and the interviewer tells the candidate his resume looks great.
