NEW YORK Harrison Magun, a general manager of Avenue A/Razorfish, has left the agency to take a position with Microsoft.

Magun recently wrapped up work at the aQuantive agency. Next month, he starts at Microsoft’s MSN unit as director of media analytics.

“What thrills me about this next adventure is the opportunity to leverage cross media strategy and analytics, in a global context, with a world class company and world class clients,” Magun said.

Magun joined Avenue A/Razorfish in December 2003, when Avenue A purchased eonMedia, a search engine marketing firm, where he was managing director.
