NEW YORK ESPN plans to streamline its multiple online video offerings into a single universal Web player on ESPN.com starting today. Until recently, each service was accessible through a separate Web-based player.

Similarly, a Spanish-language version of the new video player will be launched on Monday on ESPNDeportes.com, though it will feature just ESPN Motion video content.

Besides centralizing its video content, ESPN says it is also planning to make its video content easier to navigate through its new ESPN Sports Search platform, which will allow fans to search through the brand’s entire online library of video content, which includes nearly 100 hours of footage.
