Merle-Lieberman Gets Marketing Promotion

The NBC Agency in Burbank, Calif., has advanced Sharon Merle-Lieberman to senior director of marketing. She will report to Barbara Blangiardi, vice president of marketing and special projects. Previously director of strategic partnerships, Merle-Lieberman developed the relationship with the Universal Pictures Group and Focus Features. In her new job, she will focus on the creation of programs that support off-channel marketing tactics for prime-time programming by NBC Entertainment. Merle-Lieberman’s background includes stints at McCann Erickson’s Zentropy Partners and at Euro RSCG’s ACG Communications.
