BOSTON PJA has picked up global advertising and media chores for software supplier Novell, the client has confirmed.

The independent shop in Cambridge, Mass., won the business after a review of undisclosed agencies. The incumbent on the account was WPP Group’s JWT, which did not defend.

“It’s a strategic win for us,” said Mike O’Toole, partner and director of account services at PJA. “We’re focused on big technology and b-to-b brands and Novell’s a great one. Certainly one of the largest tech companies in New England, one of the few that was up for grabs recently.”
