Sam Carrell, owner and self-titled “mum-ager” (mum-manager) rescued the Papillon-Maltese mix from a local shelter on Long Island, New York when she was just a puppy. Trying to break one-pound Tinkerbelle of her shyness, Ms Carrell would walk Tinkerbelle around the streets of New York City.
