BOSTON Matt Sweeney has been named president, publisher and CEO of Computerworld, the company said.
He had been executive vice president and publisher, helming sales efforts for nearly three years at the IT publication based in Framingham, Mass.
His promotion comes on the heels of the appointment of CEO Bob Carrigan to the position of president of parent IDG Communications, where he will directly oversee eight media business units in the U.S., along with having global responsibilities.
