Clear Channel to Push Concerts on Yahoo

NEW YORK Yahoo and Clear Channel Music Group said they have reached a deal to promote Clear Channel concerts through Yahoo’s Web portal.

Under terms of the agreement, Yahoo will provide information on upcoming Clear Channel concerts, along with links to buy tickets, on Yahoo’s home page, Yahoo Music and other parts of the site.

Yahoo said it would tap into the demographic information of its 176 million registered users, displaying ads with upcoming Clear Channel concert information based on ZIP codes.
