NEW YORK Pedone/1.to.1 is dressing the windows of the Waldorf-Astoria in an effort to get jet-setting guests to recognize the prestigious property’s parent, Conrad Hotels.

“Wonders of the World” is a tableau of costumes from locales where Conrad operates luxury hotels. “Some very important people, like the President of the United States, pass by these windows, so its very valuable real estate,” said Kathi Stark, creative director of Pedone/1.to.1 in New York.

One window, a display for North America, features a mannequin wearing 1920s flapper garb that reflects the architecture of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York and the Miami Beach environs of its sister hotel, the Conrad Miami.
