Ainsley Earhardt is joining Fox & Friends as co-host, filling the spot left empty by Elisabeth Hasselbeck‘s departure in December.
It looks like Earhardt’s new role will allow her to sleep in a touch. She moves over from her co-hosting role on Fox & Friends First, which airs from 5-6 a.m. ET. Fox & Friends wont be an entirely new environment for Earhardt; she has substitute hosted in the past.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and am thrilled to join [co-hosts] Steve [Doocy] and Brian [Kilmeade] on the curvy couch to deliver Americans their morning news,” Earhardt said in a statement.
