The “Back to the Future” DeLorean car is making a special appearance at the National Mall tomorrow from 6:30am-6pm as a part of Smithsonian Magazine’s third annual Future is Here Festival. Unfortunately, they won’t be gunning it to 88 without those 1.21 gigawatts…
The four-day festival, which kicks off tomorrow (Thursday, May 14th 6-9PM), will feature a screening of “Back to the Future” at the Warner Bros. Theater, followed by Q&A with Lee Leshen, documentary filmmaker of “Back In Time” about the making of “Back to the Future.”
And according to event organizers, they plan on unveiling “a real hoverboard” inspired by the movie “Back to the Future.” So, feel free to geek out hard without being judged.
