Rumors Swirl of POLITICO Promotion for Susan Glasser
Rumors are swirling that Susan B. Glasser, editor of POLITICO Magazine, will soon be named executive editor of POLITICO, a position vacated earlier this month by Rick Berke. Berke, in an email to staff, cited disagreements over strategy with POLITICO president and CEO Jim VandeHei and editor in chief John Harris.
Glasser, who joined the magazine in late 2013, worked for years with VandeHei, Harris, and POLITICO chief operating officer Kim Kingsley at The Washington Post, prior to her forced departure in 2008.
Glasser and a POLITICO publicist that FishbowlDC reached out to for comment have yet to respond.
