NEW YORK Venables, Bell & Partners tops the list of semifinalists for the first annual Women’s Image Network advertising awards, according to WIN.

The WIN awards honor advertising created by at least one woman. Submissions created by men that show women in a positive light were also considered.

With 13 nominations for its animated Napster campaign and ads for Siebel Systems and Bell Sports, the San Francisco agency bested Wieden + Kennedy of Portland, Ore., and New York, which placed second with 12 nominations for Nike, Powerade, ESPN, AOL and Miller Brewing Co.
