NEW YORK Sony has teamed up with The Coca-Cola Co. for a holiday sweepstakes promotion that gives consumers a chance to win a Sony PlayStation 2, the companies said.
Beginning Nov. 1, consumers can participate in “Unwrap the Experience” by looking underneath the cap of Coca-Cola trademarked products to see if they have instantly won either various PlayStation items or Coke products and coupons.
The promotion runs through Dec. 31.
Interpublic Group’s Fitzgerald + Co. in Atlanta created the television, radio, outdoor and in-cinema ads in support of the sweepstakes.
Publicis Groupe’s Frankel in Chicago is handling the promotion, which includes direct mail and e-mail.
Media spending was undisclosed.
