ATLANTA Creative on Demand has been named a finalist in two categories of the 2004 London International Advertising and Design Awards, which will be held Nov. 8 in the English city, the agency said.

The Miami independent was nominated in the television/cinema category for the TV spot “Nothing to Hide,” which it created and produced for Volkswagen. The ad targets the U.S. Hispanic population and promotes the car maker’s certified pre-owned program.

The agency also was nominated in the print category for an ad it produced for the new VW Beetle convertible. That ad, called “Air Freshner” (intentionally misspelled), also targets U.S. Hispanic consumers.

More than 70 countries are represented in the competition, which recognizes the world’s most creative television/cinema, print and radio commercials and the best package design. This is the 19th year of the awards.
