ClearPath, a provider of network-based VPN and security services for small businesses, has appointed Kenneth Simril chief financial officer. He will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Los Angeles company’s strategic financial direction, which includes budgeting, planning, development and resource allocations. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Simril has 15 years of corporate finance and accounting experience. He most recently was vice president of finance at New Jersey-based Global Crossing.
