Daily Show D.C. Turning into All-Day Affair

Sanity might be a strong word for what’s happening to Wednesday’s taping of “The Daily Show” in D.C. at the Harman Center for the Arts. First, attendees needed to be there at 4 p.m. Now that time has moved up to 2:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. (that is, if you want a chance in hell in getting in. They’ve given out so many tickets that you might not get in unless you get there insanely early.) And there’s a new ground rule: No weapons allowed. If the old rules have slipped your mind, read here.

A memo from the Audience Department:

Due to unavoidable schedule changes, please note that you will need to be at The Harman Center on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 NO LATER than 2:30pm for the taping of “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart. The show should be over at approximately 6:15pm.

Important Information:
We recommend you get in line no later than 2:00pm. Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.  All shows are overbooked to ensure capacity and no one is guaranteed entry. You must bring your ticket letter/confirmation with you to the taping. It will serve as your proof of reservation and allow you to stand in our line.

Please make special arrangements if necessary to avoid bringing with you large bags, backpacks, or containers of any kind.  In addition, please do not bring anything that might be construed as a weapon.

If you have any further questions please contact us at BLANK.  We look forward to seeing you at the taping.

Thank You,
Audience Department
