Saturday, Sept. 11 @ 2.30PM: WTOP political analyst Mark Plotkin

Mark Plotkin, WTOP political analyst and host of the weekly “Politics Program,” talks about the upcoming 2010 mid-term elections and the implications for the Obama administration. Plotkin, who has analyzed national and local politics at WTOP since 2002, will preview Washington, D.C.’s critical primary vote on September 14 and the fate of D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty.

The Chicago native will also discuss his journalism career and his continued advocacy for District self-governance and voter representation in Congress.

Sunday, Sept. 12 @ 2:30PM: “Morning Miracle” author Dave Kindred

Journalist Dave Kindred takes an in-depth look at the 21st century newspaper by spending time in the inner sanctum of The Washington Post. Kindred’s will discuss his new book “Morning Miracle: Inside the Washington Post,” a look at a newspaper and an industry in a moment of crisis and continual change.

Kindred will sign copies of his book following the program.
