A Reason to Hang on to Facebook
Facebook launches its U.S. Politics on Facebook page today (Facebook.com/USpolitics). The page purports to “highlight how politicians, elected officials, and political campaigns across the United States are using Facebook to better connect with citizens.”
The U.S. Politics on Facebook page is being rolled out in Manhattan at a conference convened by the Personal Democracy Forum, which explores how technology is changing politics and governance worldwide.
One Facebooker on the page remarked: “This page will turn into a shoutfest, I can see it already.”
