Reception Attracts Boone & Madeleine Pickens & Scribes

Expect a boatload of reporters Tuesday night to the home of D.C. lobbyist Juleanna Glover. We’re told there will be an especially solid showing of those who work at The Daily Caller.

Glover’s sister Kristen Glover and Elizabeth Conway are to host a reception honoring the Saving America’s Must Mustangs Organization, a group devoted to preserving the nation’s wild horses.

Special guests: Boone and Madeleine Pickens. Boone is an American financier who chairs hedge fund BP Capital Management (Forbes ranks him the 117th richest person in America). As for horses, Pickens lobbied for the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (HR 503) which would prohibit the slaughter for human consumption and trade and transport of “horse flesh and live horses” intended for human consumption.

Drinks and dessert will be served.
