Former Intern Hired at WTOP
Washington, D.C. Bonneville Radio’s WTOP 103.5 FM Washington, D.C. today announced a new addition to its team of reporters. Andrew Mollenbeck comes to WTOP after spending the past 3 ½ years as a morning drive reporter for KNX in Los Angeles.
Reports WTOP: “It’s a homecoming for Mollenbeck, who was an intern at WTOP five years ago. He is fluent in Spanish and recently spent a week in Haiti reporting on the devastation from the earthquake for CBS and KNX. He joins WTOP in early June after wrapping up an adjunct gig teaching broadcast writing at Biola University.”
