LucasArts, a San Rafael, Calif.-based developer and publisher of entertainment software, has named John Geoghegan vice president of marketing. Most recently president of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in San Francisco, Geoghegan has overseen brand-building efforts for companies including Sun Microsystems, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, State Farm Insurance and 24 Hour Fitness Clubs. He is also a journalist whose articles on marketing and culture have appeared in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
