Starcom USA has promoted Andrew Swinand to group client leader, steering the media agency’s print-investment operations. He will be responsible for maximizing the value of print buys for clients such as Aventis, Allstate, Kellogg and Sara Lee, as well as general oversight of the U.S. Army and Nintendo accounts. (Media director Brenda White will remain responsible for day-to-day print-operations management, strategic negotiations and vendor relationships.) In addition to overseeing the Chicago agency’s Magazine Investment Group, Swinand will continue to work as a strategist for technology clients such as Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
