PR Week Releases All Your Emails...And Passwords Too!

It all began yesterday with a simple email:

That resulted in tons and tons of emails being sent out, with all the subscribers included in a CC line. We’ve cut and pasted all the emails into Microsoft Word, shrunk them to 8-pt font and tried to screen capture the whole entire thing (not easy…which tells you how many there were):

Please disregard these emails since it was due to an error in an email generation tool. This was identified quickly and these passwords were changed immediately to make sure your new account is still secure. You will receive a follow up email with your new login information.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Well, that’s all well and good, but you happen to use that same password for other online accounts, now you have to change all of them…
