BOSTON Looking to drive new-business efforts overseas and better serve a pair of boating clients that rely on global markets, Mascola Advertising said it has launched an office in Hampshire, England.

The five-person outpost is helmed by Neil Young, who has run his own shop in Britain. The office currently works for a pair of boating companies, Lewmar and Raymarine. The latter is based in England.

“Our [new] office gives us and our clients a competitive advantage in channeling products to markets” that were previously difficult to reach, said Chuck Mascola, president of the independent agency in New Haven, Conn.

The 15-year-old Mascola agency has 25 employees and grew about 10 percent last year. Other clients include Navtec Rigging Solutions, Okemo Mountain Resort, Stonewater Spas and various tourism destinations in Connecticut.
