Roger Simon To Join Allbritton
Roger Simon has decided to jump on board the Albritton ship (and, yes, Capitol Leader’s name will change). Simon fell victim to U.S. News & World Report’s lay-off ax in October 2005.
Simon has covered presidential campaigns since 1976 and will not only shape the publication’s 2008 coverage, but also write a column on presidential politics.
“It is hard to find a more accomplished, better sourced and more respected political reporter than Simon,” Jim VandeHei says in the release, which is expected out later today.
