Thanks to the magic of technology, with the click of the mouse we can find out just which local publications are intended for the more learned population, and which ones, well, aren’t.

According to the analysis, the most sophisticated homepage in D.C. media belongs to the Washington Times — apparently written at a 7th grade reading level. On the other end of the spectrum is the City Paper, requiring slightly less than a 4th grade education.
