CHICAGO Midas brings back its familiar “Trust the Midas touch” tagline in new advertising from DDB here, the first full-fledged campaign since the shop won the business last summer.
Television spots scheduled to break next week show a customer conversing with a Midas employee who is hooked up to a polygraph machine. As the customer asks questions such as “Will you sell me something I don’t need?” and “Do you do more brake jobs than anyone else?” a polygraph technician tells the customer whether the employee is telling the truth or not.
