Ahh, interns. They inspire such hope while factchecking your story with enthusiasm or getting your coffee with gusto. They’re the future, and in an industry where a future is uncertain, it’s always great to see those who think positively.
But they’re not immune to the larger job market, and in a farewell to the interns post by Sacramento Bee editor Melanie Sill, you can see a lot of that unease shining through.
Sill starts off by commending one intern, Lulu Liu who’s a physics graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
