A new study shows that even in this recession, about half of the global workforce would trade a higher salary for more meaningful work, reports Human Resource Executive Online.
The U.S. lags slightly behind the rest of the world, with 43 percent of Americans saying they would take less pay for more meaning, compared with 49 percent of Europeans and 54 percent of those surveyed in the Asia/Pacific region.
