Lanvin to Design Collection for H&M
Come November, H&M shoppers may be clamoring for silk-wrapped pearls, Grecian-inspired frocks, and floppy bows. The Swedish fast fashion juggernaut has announced that it is collaborating with French fashion label Lanvin on a capsule collection of womenswear and menswear. Designed by Lanvin artistic director Alber Elbaz (pictured) and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the collection will go on sale November 23 in approximately 200 H&M stores worldwide. “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less,” said Elbaz in a statement announcing the collaboration.
