“Everybody likes classic cars. Why is that? The 300 Gullwing was one of our most iconic cars and, of course, there is some nostalgia involved, but there are also a lot of shapes and details there that humans find attractive. I think that is key to good car design: to capture the emotion in the shape and at the same time capture some of the intellectual components of the car.”
