Today's Mad Men Forgo Noontime Martinis for Brainstorming in 'Salinger Tent'

While the NBC pages don sharp gray suits, today’s Don (and Donna) Drapers are turning up for work in shorts and vintage Japanese sneakers. Lily Koppel recently peeked inside ad firms for a New York Times piece comparing their interiors to the mod, stark, circa-1960 offices created for AMC’s hit drama, Mad Men. Our favorite part comes when Koppel zooms in on JWT (the firm the Sterling Cooper boys would have known as J. Walter Thompson), which happens to have created an ad for Mad Men‘s season one DVD set.
