Ira Glass Reacts to New York Times Revelations
Ira Glass joining Twitter earlier this month is the best media-participatory thing to happen to the social network in some time. Today, the gifted aural storyteller had this to say about The Grey Lady:
The permalink for Cara Buckley’s Sunday print editions story, by necessarily losing an apostrophe in the article headline, spells the 55-year-old multimedia artist’s name as ‘-glasss-.’ Almost as if the Web side of the NYT is passing judgment on those hefty numbers.
And even though Glass’ annual salary took a nice jump in 2013, Buckley suggests other means have been necessary to pay for that Chelsea one-bedroom the journalist shares with a rescue dog and wife Anaheed Alani.
