Photojournalist Tyson Heder Released From Prison
Freelance photojournalist Tyson Heder was released from prison late Friday after he was charged with battery on a peace officer, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.
While the “Free Journalist Tyson Heder Now” said Heder’s bail was $20,000, National Lawyers Guild executive vice-president and attorney Carol Sobel told 89.3 KPCC it was set at $10,000.
Heder posted the following message (and photo) on the Facebook group:
“I can’t thank you guys enough for the support. This page embarrasses me a little, but I get it and I’m very proud of my friends and family.
