Conan Headed to TBS

Whoa! Where did this come from?

TV Guide is reporting that Conan O’Brien has signed a late-night deal with TBS, bucking previous rumors of his inevitable landing at Fox.

“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable,” O’Brien said in a statement. “My plan is working perfectly.”

O’Brien’s show will debut in November at 11, after the World Series. The yet-to-be-named show will run for an hour, Monday through Thursday, and will be followed by George Lopez’s “Lopez Tonight.”
