J. Walter Thompson last week named Sean Neall, global business director on Ford Motor Co.’s account, and Tom Cordner, Detroit office ecd and worldwide cd on Ford, co-presidents of the office here, effective immediately. The executives assume duties previously handled by Mike O’Malley, who resigned as president of the agency when Neall joined the shop in March. Cordner, who is reorganizing the agency’s 190-person creative department, cut five employees as part of the restructuring.
