Baquet names managing editors and associate editor; all have beards

Pop quiz: Which one of these people is the newly-named LAT managing editor Doug Frantz, and which one is J.M. Coetzee, winner of the 2003 Nobel Prize for Literature? Anyway, the one who is Frantz (currently the Istanbul bureau chief) will be joined as managing editor by Leo Wollinsky, the two of them sharing Baquet’s old title.
