NEW YORK Cliff Freeman and Partners will be invited to defend its creative duties for Midas as the client begins a $40 million account review, a company representative said.

The New York agency won the Itasca, Ill., automotive repair chain’s business in October 2001, becoming Midas’ fifth shop since 1995.

Work by the incumbent, whose “We do that”-tagged television spots included one with an elderly woman flashing her breasts, was not without its critics.Last month, Business 2.0
