BOSTON Four finalists emerged today in the review for the creative portion of the $50-60 million American Legacy Foundation anti-tobacco program.

Joining the incumbent team of Havas’ Arnold, Boston, and Maxxcom’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami, in the finals are Interpublic Group’s Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich.; Omnicom’s GSD&M in Austin, Texas; and independent Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, Ore.

Cut from contention were Omnicom’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and IPG’s The Martin Agency, Richmond, Va. Publicis’ Fallon, Minneapolis, withdrew from contention last week, citing a heavy workload.

Final presentations are set for the first week in May. Consultants with Pile and Co., Boston, are managing the process.
