ATLANTA Independent media planning and buying firm MediaSolutions has reported $48 million in billings for 2002, an increase of 9 percent over 2001.

Agency president and founder Pat Sibley said her Atlanta shop’s growth was based on an increase in spending among existing clients Friedman’s Jewelers, Kimberly Clark and Coldwell Banker/The Condo Store, all in Atlanta. Friedman’s Los Angeles affiliate, Crescent Jewelers, also increased media expenditures.

MediaSolutions planned media for Georgia Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss’ upset victory over Democratic incumbent Senator Max Cleland.
