Erwin-Penland has resumed sales talks with IPG’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, sources said. Boston-based Hill, Holliday and the Greenville, S.C., independent both have considerable regional business from Verizon Wireless. Talks this summer about a Hill, Holliday acquisition of E-P broke off and then resumed, with the latest session believed to have occurred last month, sources said. Shop officials declined comment.
